Rules on Payments

Personland Laws

1. Payment method

1.1 Tiles and optional souvenirs are paid for in USDT on the TRC20 network.

1.2 The Chairperson may add other stablecoins or networks. The accepted coins and networks are shown on person.land at the time of purchase. Only those shown count as payment.

1.3 Prices are set in USDT. No conversion into other currencies is made.

2. Amount and fees

2.1 The amount to pay is shown on the payment page before payment. It consists of the price and the fees of the payment service and of the network.

2.2 All fees are paid by the buyer.

2.3 The amount received must equal the amount shown. Withdrawal fees charged by the sender's wallet or exchange are paid by the sender.

2.4 Payment may be made from any wallet or exchange, and by a person other than the buyer.

3. How to pay

3.1 Payment is made on the payment page generated for the order. The address and amount on that page are valid only for that order.

3.2 The payment window is 60 minutes from the moment the page is generated. After that, the page expires.

3.3 Tiles are not reserved during the payment window. A tile belongs to the first confirmed payment. If an earlier confirmed payment has taken the tile, the buyer may choose another free tile at the same price, or ask for a refund under section 8.

3.4 While the payment page is unavailable for maintenance, an order may be placed by email to personlandquestions@gmail.com. The message names the tile numbers. The Chairperson replies with the amount and the payment address. The price is the price shown on the map when the order is accepted. The 60-minute window in 3.2 does not apply to these orders.

4. Confirmation and delivery

4.1 A payment is accepted when the payment service reports it as finished.

4.2 After acceptance, the tile is assigned, and the Certificate of Ownership is sent to the email used for the purchase (Rules on Souvenirs, 5.1).

4.3 A receipt with the order number, amount, date and transaction link is sent to the same email.

4.4 Souvenir currency (Constitution, Article 7.3) is issued on request by email, after the payment is accepted. Second phase

5. Transfers that do not count as payment

5.1 Only the coins and networks accepted under 1.2 count as payment. Other tokens, fake or look-alike tokens, and transfers through other networks are not payment, and nothing is issued for them.

5.2 Such transfers are not refunded.

6. Underpayment, overpayment and late payment

6.1 The buyer may pay the missing amount within 72 hours by contacting the direct-line email. If the order is not completed in that time, it is cancelled, and the amount received is handled under section 8.

6.2 The excess is refunded under section 8. If the excess is 10 USDT or less, it is not refunded.

6.3 A payment received after the page has expired is accepted if the tile is still free and the price has not changed. Otherwise the order is cancelled, and the amount is handled under section 8.

7. Wrong network or wrong address

7.1 A transfer sent to a wrong address or through a wrong network is, as a rule, not recoverable by the Chairperson (Constitution, Article 7.4).

7.2 The Chairperson may try to help at their own discretion and without obligation. Costs of recovery are paid from the recovered amount.

8. Refunds

8.1 Refunds are given only as set out in this section and in Article 7.2 of the Constitution.

8.2 An amount of 10 USDT or less is not refunded.

8.3 A refund is paid in USDT to the address the payment was sent from, minus network fees, within 30 days after the Chairperson confirms the refund. Where the refund is due to the fault of Personland, the network fee is paid by Personland.

8.4 Refunds are not made to other addresses.

9. Refusal and checks

9.1 The Chairperson may refuse, delay or return a payment that appears suspicious, comes from a flagged or sanctioned address, or is flagged by the payment service.

9.2 Personland is not liable for delays caused by the payment service, the blockchain network or such checks.

10. Large payments and auctions

10.1 Payments above 1,000 USDT may be accepted by direct transfer to a wallet of Personland, by agreement through the direct-line email, instead of the payment page.

11. Payment service

11.1 The Chairperson may change the payment service, the wallets, and the accepted coins and networks at any time. Orders already paid are not affected.

11.2 If the payment service is unavailable, the Chairperson may accept USDT by direct transfer on request.

12. Recipient of payments

12.1 Payments are received by the Chairperson as administrator of person.land.
